On July 18, 2023, a new online platform emerged. The Central Government launched its Sahara Refund Portal. It provides a digital way to get financial reimbursements. For individuals who put money into Sahara Society. According to the Home Minister of the Indian Government, approximately Rs 5000 crore will be disbursed. This portal will provide relief to 10 crore people from their investments all over India.
Investors in Sahara can receive a refund for their investment by submitting a request on the Sahara Refund Portal. The relief amount will only be given to individuals who have completed their investment period and have invested in the four Sahara branches listed on the portal. The four branches consist of Bhopal, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Those who have made investments in these are eligible to request their payment.

The “Sahara Refund Portal” is a website that Union Home Minister Amit Shah established to reimburse individuals whose money was stuck in the Sahara. Investors will be able to request that their money be paid after enrolling on this platform. Through this platform, all of the investors in Sahara will validate your claim and provide you with relief.

Investors can also request their funds through the online platform. Next, the government will review all the paperwork, and if it’s accurate, the investors will receive their refund in their account.

If you have already registered on the Sahara Refund Portal, you are ready to log in and apply for your claim. To proceed, follow the steps below to log in successfully.
Navigate to the official Sahara Refund Portal and go to the Depositor home page.
On the Depositor home page, find the ‘Depositor Login’ option in the menu and click on it.
A new page will open where you need to enter the required details to access your account.
Input the last four digits of the Aadhaar card number you used during registration.
In the next field, enter the mobile number associated with the Aadhaar number you provided.
Complete the captcha code in the provided space and click on ‘Get OTP.’
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to proceed.
After verifying the OTP, you will be logged in, and you can now access all features for claim processing.
This process ensures that only registered users can log in and proceed with their claim applications

Step 2: Your Aadhaar-linked details will auto-fill. Enter your email ID and click “Next.”
Step 3: Fill in claim details from your Sahara investment certificate:Sahara Society name
Step 4: Click “Add Claim” and preview your uploaded documents.
Step 5: Click “Next” to proceed.
Step 6: Generate Claim Request Form and print it.
Step 7: Add photo and signature to the form, scan and make a PDF.
Step 8: Upload the signed form on the portal.
Step 9: Preview uploaded form, then check and proceed.
Step 10: If deposit exceeds Rs 50,000, upload PAN details.
Step 11: See “Upload Successful” message, click “Next.”
Step 12: Get a “Thank You” message confirming claim submission.
Step 13: Receive claim date and acknowledgement number for status tracking.
The Sahara Refund Portal provides an efficient way for investors to retrieve their money from Sahara Society.
